Vacation Village at Parkway is currently seeking Pool Attendants!
Purpose of position
This position is responsible for maintaining the pool area and for making sure that poolside equipment is available for guests use at all times. This position requires a candidate that will have an upbeat and "cheery" disposition as we are trying to provide our guests with a fun and "happy" vacation experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee pool area
- Set up chairs and umbrellas, check for any damage, report damage to manager
- Must be accessible to, and approachable with guests.
- Must have good communication skills
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Must be passionate about hospitality and customer service
- Must have a professional appearance and good hygiene
- Must be pleasant, polite, courteous and hospitable.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma preferred, but not required
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience
- Must have flexible availability
- Should display good organizational and time management skills
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs and carry up to 10 lbs
