REAL ESTATE LICENSE TRAINER

SUMMARY:

             

The Real Estate License Trainer provides instruction to students enrolled in the Real Estate Academy while creating and maintaining an active learning environment to enable students to demonstrate course competencies. This position is also responsible to create a student learning centered environment that places learning and skill acquisition at the center of the educational experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teaches new students curriculum needed to pass mandatory tests required to obtain a Real Estate License.
  • Teaches continuing education curriculum required for new and existing licensed employees to maintain an active real estate license status.
  • Enrolls new and existing licensed real estate agents into the academy.
  • Teaches specialized knowledge of real estate related course content.
  • Teaches live pre-license and/or post-license sessions via classes and/or webinars.
  • Provides over-the-phone assistance and support to students who call with questions inquiring about the course material.
  • Completes all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical/Trade school certification in Real Estate.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the real estate or vacation ownership field required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in the real estate or vacation ownership field required.
  • Real Estate Instructor License, as required by state law.
  • Real Estate License, as required by state law.
  • Real Estate Broker / Managing Broker License, as required by state law.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to effectively deliver instruction and active learning into teaching of course material.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.
  • Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets.
  • Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes.
  • Competent in public speaking.
  • Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Basic math skills.
