SUMMARY:   The Yield manager is focused in understand, anticipate and influence supplier behavior in order to configure, maximize profits, solve incidents and maintain all connected portfolio the most accurate as possible for our client distribution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Special conditions:  

  • Loading tasks of each connectivity. Knowledge of the external business rules in order to adapt our set up and system.  Depending on the external supplier the conditions are very different. (Ex: Processes, connectivity set up, product type, incidents, etc.)
  • Being involved in different projects in the company
  • Supporting and coordinating with all areas in the company when configuring connectivity. (Ex: Distribution, SRC, IT, GFSC, Product, etc.)
  • Configuration and maintenance of the existing and new hotel product integrated to put them on sale as soon as possible for our clients distribution.
  • To optimize and capitalize the integrated product with the objective of growing the business and giving the less level or errors to our clients, ensuring that the information held in our systems is up to date and accurate. Checking if all the control points from an integration setup are correct. Assuring by daily monitoring that selected differentiated product reaches the maximum results.
  • Solving incidences and giving support to other company areas with regards to connectivity product/bookings finding out the problem and providing solutions, this may require coordination/assistance with external supplier.
  • Day-to-day commercial communication with internal clients by telephone and e-mail to assist with the development of our business, this may include occasional support in commercial meetings with our external platforms (Ex: Hilton, Accor, Starwood, Best Western, etc.) in order to achieve the predefined targets.
  • OTHER DUTIES MIGHT BE ASSIGNED.

SUPERVISORY RESONSIBILITIES:  There are no supervisory responsibilities connected to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

Experience: 

1 to 3 years experience in a position with similar experience such as customer service, commercial, IT / technical positions.

 Knowledge:

  • MS Office: (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Advanced/Experienced Level
  • SI Manager: advanced level preferred
  • XML language: medium level

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma and/or GED is required.  Minimum Associates Degree is preferred and/or at least (2) two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Excellent ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Excellent ability to write simple correspondence.  Excellent ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.  Bilingual English & Spanish is a PLUS.
