Primary Duties
- Assist with facilitating classroom learning in the PharmD curriculum. Keep students on task with learning activities and software technology. Liaise for the lead faculty member during videoconference/teaching sessions. Assist students with using technology during learning (accessing quizzes in Canvas and/or ExamSoft).
- Assist in setting-up, preparing, and delivering skills-based laboratory classes. Organize course and laboratory materials and environments, including (but not limited to) classroom space, equipment, handouts, and other materials.
- Proctor examinations and participate in learning/teaching scenarios for the skills-based laboratory classes.
- Assist with coordinating and maintaining of class schedules and participant assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Additional Duties
- Serve as a resource for basic technology needs (Canvas, ExamSoft, and virtual classroom software), and assist in set up of audio-visual (A/V) and other equipment for courses and technical demonstrations, act as a liaison between students, faculty members, and the IT and instructional design team.
Preferred Qualifications
- EDUCATION & TRAINING - Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) training - Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) training EXPERIENCE: Experience in facilitating groups/learners
- KNOWLEDGE - Basic knowledge of computer and AV technology - Basic knowledge of education/training software (such as Canvas, ExamSoft, and virtual classroom software)
- SKILLS - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - Excellent organizational skills (with emphasis on details)
- ABILITIES - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines - Ability to identify when input from others is needed - Ability to solve problems confidently
