The position of BUSINESS LOAN PROCESSOR/CLOSERRequires a self-motivated individual able to work with minimal supervision.  This individual will be responsible for performing due diligence and preparing closing packages for commercial and small business loans. As such they will be required, on a daily basis, to effectively interact with third party vendors, loan officers, Loan Operations staff and Bank management.

Minimum qualifications for a successful candidate are:

 

Two (2) year degree in a financial services discipline or the equivalent combination of education and work related experience.  In the absence of a degree, two (2) years’ work experience in retail or business lending with a primary focus on performing due diligence tasks and/or preparation of closing packages. Educational experience through in-house training sessions, financial industry classes, workshops or seminars offering CEUs for specific certifications in the financial industry andon-line training can be combined to provide the level of education necessary to be considered a candidate for this position.  Above average understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements of business lending as well as Bank’s lending policies and procedures.  Ability to interpret legal documents such as borrowing resolutions and operating agreements and determine the appropriateness of their use in Small Business and Commercial Loan transactions. Working knowledge of Florida Real Estate Law sufficient to interpret title work and use same to prepare accurate closing documents.
