FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SPEC - MDH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE(Job Number: 167587)Description The Financial Assistance Specialist is responsible for identifying ER patients thru bedside assessment and interview who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from community agencies. May act as a liaison between the patient and community agencies. Must be available for flexible scheduling and willing to rotate shifts. Clearly documents all activities. Required Experience includes 1 yearsHealthcare customer service or Social Services or 3 years Healthcare customer service or Social Services with High School Diploma or Equivalent in lieu of Associates degree. Additional preferred skills includes knowledge of community resources for unfunded/underfunded patients.Qualifications Certifications and Licensures
