DescriptionSummary: We are a professional services firm that provides financial reporting, regulatory compliance, insurance management and functional consulting to our insurance industry client base. We work in partnership with our clients to provide them with accounting and insurance professionals who provide day to day operational services and assist in the management and operations of their captive insurance companies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist clients and senior management on a range of general accounting functions in the management of a portfolio of captive insurance companies and/or risk retention groups. Specific responsibilities include timely financial statement preparation, maintenance of corporate records, regulatory reporting as well as overall account management. Education and/or Experience: Bachelors' degree required in accounting or equivalent experience. Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) an advantage. Sound knowledge of GAAP and insurance accounting principles. PC literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Flexibility to work on special projects and meet the demands of clients, including some travel to attendance at board meetings.
