We are responsible for the design, development, and delivery of all resort and theme park concepts for all of Universal vacation destinations worldwide - Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Singapore, as well as new destinations planned for Europe, Asia, and the United Arab Emirates. Assist in the financial analysis and make recommendations for various projects. Work with project team to develop and maintain detailed financial reports and general financial support.

  • Complete month-end close duties, including report review and account reconciliations
  • Prepare worksheets and analyze a range of accounts to verify accuracy, identify business trends or problem areas.
  • Work with Project Financial Analyst and Project Managers to update project EFC and communicate issues.
  • Perform detailed review of Capital Project purchase requests from initial development through final approval.
  • Review, audit and approve invoices/payment applications related to project. Research vendor payment issues and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Prepare monthly draw requests for project construction loan(s)
  • Verify contract execution and payment releases; perform contract maintenance
  • Assist with annual audit requests
  • Assist with applicable ad-hoc projects and requests

QUALIFICATIONS: Microsoft Office, Ability to Communicate Clearly, Organization Skills, Ability to Meet Deadlines, Forecasting, Budgeting, Analytical Thinking, Planning and Scheduling, Accounting Research, Knowledge of Accounting Principles , Solution Development

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree is required.

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Infrequent local travel. Long distance travel not required.
