The Patient Financial Representative III performs patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, cash posting, contract adjudication, and refunds, documents patient account activity, responds to customer billing inquiries, posts payments, implements billing guideline changes, applies federal and state guidelines to collection efforts, interprets and follows up on Explanation of Benefits, quantifies billing error trends and effects process changes at a payer specific level, identifies and resolves all issues related to patient accounts, inventories supplies, reports and tracks equipment maintenance, performs other duties as assigned. Ability to perform four or more of the job categories listed in job description.
