SUMMARY: Provides work direction to Park Attendants and ensures efficient completion of department tasks by performing the following duties.


  • Direct Team Member workflow, setting leadership standards, and guiding work locations efficiency.
  • Communicate performance and behavior standards and expectations; counsels and coaches to improvement.
  • Assist supervision with creating and maintaining schedules, including breaks and lunch periods. Monitoring timeliness of employees and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Assist with training new and current employees. Assigning who will provide daily training.
  • Inform Team Members of current and new company policies and procedures.
  • Observe and direct Team Member compliance with wardrobe and grooming standards.
  • Perform job duties of Park Attendant. Maintain park quality standards by thoroughly performing all cleaning duties.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Consistent attendance is a job requirement.


  • High school degree or GED.


  • 0-1 Year: Employed with UO for a minimum of 30 days required.
  • Six months to one year experience providing work direction preferred.
  • See specific job description; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Valid Florida Driver's license preferred.


While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:

  • Regularly (2/3 or more of time): stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of time): stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally (up to 1/3 of time): sit, climb or balance, lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and up to 500 pounds with the assistance of utility truck.
  • Utilize Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), and possess the ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).


While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:

  • Regularly (2/3 or more of the time) work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) be exposed to vibration.
  • Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) work in wet, humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate (Examples: business office with typewriters and/or computer printer, light traffic).
