As a Vault Teller with Universal Orlando, organizing resources and activities toward common goals are a part of the everyday responsibilities. Vault Tellers have the opportunity to provide exceptional clerical and computer support to an extraordinary organization and enjoy doing so at the same time.

Vault Tellers at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

  • Responsible for balancing all cash received in the Main Vault, preparing deposits and accepting change orders. Also responsible for cash inventory to ensure sufficient cash supply for operating departments.

  • Preparing starting banks for Operations Division and change orders for City Walk daily.

  • Preparing bank deposits timely for Armored Service scheduled pickups.

  • Issuing keys to Vault staff, maintaining daily inventory of keys and teller stamps and ensuring security of vault.

  • Verifying incoming bank shipments.

  • Adhering to the internal and dual control policies of UO and meet the minimum average of 2 points or below for over/short matrix points.

  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

To perform the role of a Vault Teller successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.

  • High school degree or GED is required.

  • 1-3 Years: 10-key, cash handling, prior bank teller experience required.

  • 3-5 Years: bank teller experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Vault Teller job.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:

  • Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) stand for prolonged periods; walk for prolonged periods (including ability to walk at a given pace that is predetermined by a moving sidewalk); sit for prolonged periods; use hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head; repeat motions more than twice per minute; repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner; lift/push up to 35 pounds with control; use close vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 inches or less); use distance vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 feet or more); use peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); use depth perception (vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure); work in small or tight spaces.

  • Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) talk.
