Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse- Pool works in collaboration with and under indirect coordination and oversight of a Registered Nurse being responsible for delivery of resident or patient care including medication administration, therapy and interventions, functions as the Charge nurse for assigned unit and oversees the daily assignments and duties of team members, collaborates with unit manager on completing performance evaluations, participates in regulatory survey and performs other duties as assigned. Required certifications include 30 hour Supervision and Leadership Course Certificate or obtained within 90 days of start date, and successful completion of approved Pharmacology course and successful completion of approved IV therapy course.
