Lake County Schools is currently seeking custodians. Our schools and departments depend on our custodians to maintain a clean learning environment for our students and staff. Lake County Schools is located less than an hour away from Orlando and has over 45 sites. REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED preferred; supplemented by demonstrated ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the work; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of the position is to provide general up-keep, sanitation, and maintenance of building facilities and grounds. Employees perform custodial and general maintenance work. Position is responsible for the cleaning, sanitation and custodial tasks as required for the building facilities and grounds. Performs related work as directed.
Job openings are for Groveland, Clermont, Leesburg, Mount Dora, Eustis and Tavares schools.
Pay is determined by years of experience and additional compensation is available for eligible employees that complete certified custodian training.
