It takes a talented group of Team Members to run Universal Orlando, and we need a dedicated team to support the thousands of Team Members employed here. Analyst, Field Services provide first-level support to all PC Users. Analyst, Field Services also provide support and assist with specific computer incident-related inquiries.

Analyst, Field Services at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

  • End device repair and maintenance including troubleshooting, configuration, incident analysis and resolution.

  • Performing end user device installation and support, as well as testing and installing new software releases. Control and track all software and licenses and report the moving of any equipment from one location to another.

  • Performing software installation and support on all end user devices.

  • Assisting with special projects.

  • Additional duties as assigned, including Service Desk assistance.

  • Consulting on end user device training programs.

  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

To perform the role of a Analyst, Field Servicessuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.

  • High school degree or GED required. Three to five years experience with PC hardware, software is required, knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Work, and Excel required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • A1 PC certification and/or Microsoft Certification preferred.

  • Valid Florida Driver's License Required.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instruction, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, repeat motions more than twice per minute, ability to work in an environment subject to vibrations, repeat use of an input device- a keyboard or mouse in a steady manner, close vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 feet or more), ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus while in changing light conditions e.g., sunshine to indoor or dark conditions), ability to work in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting, ability to work in an environment with flashing lights including strobe lamps, ability to maintain alertness and attentiveness up to 4 hours while working varying hours, ability to maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure).Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently required toStand for prolonged periods of time, walk for prolonged periods (including ability to walk at a given pace that is predetermined by a moving sidewalk), talk, use of hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, climb stairs/ladders, reach, pull, push with hands and arms below head, lift up to 50 pounds with control, push up to 200 pounds with control, peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally required to sit for prolonged periods of time, hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise, reach, pull, push with hands and arms above head, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), ability to work in small or tight spaces, and ability to smell.

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of the Analyst, Field Servicesjob.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to work in wet, humid conditions (non-weather), ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat or cold, ability to use a motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently required to work in extreme cold (non-weather) and ability to work in extreme heat (non-weather).

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally required to use a forklift (sit down),work with paint/solvents, work with aerosols (spray paints and brake cleaners), will include exposure to bodily fluids (blood/vomit), and will require performing maintenance or servicing of powerized (energized) equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical) LOTO.

  • While performing this job, the noise level in the work environment is loud noise (noise when raised conversation is needed).
