OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (CERTIFIED HAND THERAPIST) - WHH REHAB SERVICES(Job Number: 153104)Description The Occupational Therapist evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants; Rehabilitation Technicians; Fitness Specialists; Massage Therapists;Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant students and volunteers.Qualifications
REQUIRED LICENSE:
Currently licensed through state of Florida as an Occupational Therapist
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Current certification in BLS HealthCare Provider
Certified Hand Therapist
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Lymphad
NDT
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Master’s degree in related field
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
One year Occupational Therapy experience
Experience as Certified Hand Therapist with interest in working Neuro/Ortho outpatient and acute.
