NURSE MANAGER - SURGICAL SERVICES
The Operating room clinical nurse manager is accountable for excellence in leadership and management in the delivery of quality patient care and clinical practice. He/she models the Mission and Vision of BayCare to deliver quality care to our patients and provide excellent customer service to our community.
He/she functions as an expert in their field not only as a professional resource to the hospital and community but also in clinical practice within their area.
The Nurse Manager is a leader within the health system who demonstrates proficiency in all Quality leadership skills. The Nurse Manager expertly manages the care of a patient population and practices expert critical thinking skills when in the clinical setting. The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility for a patient care unit and acts as liaison between patients, team members, physicians, other customers, and administration. Bachelor's degree in process to be completed within 36 months is also acceptable.Qualifications Certifications and Licensures Required BLS (Basic Life Support) Required RN (Registered Nurse) Preferred ACLS (Cardiovascular) Unit Specific Preferred Nurse Specialist
