Description

Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy. Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Physical Therapy Assistants; Rehabilitation Technicians; Massage Therapists; Athletic Trainers; Fitness Specialists; Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant students and volunteers.

Qualifications

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: BLS

PREFERRED CERTIFICATION: Manual Therapy, Nondestructive testing, Sensory Integration

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Physical Therapy

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year Physical Therapy

REQUIRED LICENSE: Physical Therapy

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Computer skill appropriate to position, Customer service skills, Organizational skills, Written and verbal communication skills, Work independently with minimal supervision, Teamwork
