Description

The Physician Extenders are Advanced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who assist physicians in the care of patients in critical and specialty areas. These extenders have professional education in their area of specialty; meeting all legal requirements. Physician Extenders provide direction and supervision in delegation of duties consistent with patient needs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Physician Assistant or MSN

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: One year Cardio or one year critical care

REQUIRED LICENSURE: PA , or ARNP; preferred NCCPA or RN,ARNP

SPECIAL SKILLS: One plus years critical care exp ARNP or PA, MSeds.
