SUMMARY: The International Park Operations Coordinator is responsible for overall administrative, clerical and coordination functions that are critical to the Universal Beijing Operations development, including attractions, retail, food, technical services and entertainment. This includes the oversight of all the related project functions, including accurate and timely entry of action items and/or processes into spreadsheets; database maintenance; project scope records; and tracking systems for resort development issues. Executes both routine and non-routine administrative tasks and assignments as well as creation of presentations and reports as directed. Conducts research to address operational issues for the project. Translates documents from Mandarin to English.


*Initiates and manages various action items or processes in the project management system, Prolog. This includes, but is not limited to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Cost Commitment Requests (CCRs), Notices, and Transmittals based on established policies and procedures. RFPs the position may be responsible for include, but are not limited to the process for Wardrobe, Incident reporting system for Attractions/Health Services/Security/Guest Services, and in-park lockers.
*Generates department correspondence and/or reports. Coordinates with other departments and companies' offices the acquisition of information needed for special projects and meetings. Communicates with other UPR counterparts and Project Coordinators for UBR. Develops materials for International Operations team use in responding to requests and requirements.
*Utilize MS Word and Excel to analyze, compile, update and maintain department correspondence and/or reports. Disseminates data/information to appropriate parties as directed. Creates presentations and materials for special projects using MS PowerPoint and/or other computer programs. Manages the Operations Bluebeam process and Change Control documentation process.
*Translates written communications, documents and reports between Mandarin and English
*Coordinates and schedules various meetings, calendar appointments, makes travel bookings, and other administrative functions related to the International Operations team as needed.
*Prepares expense reports and other company required documentation for routing of signatures and sign-offs for projects or assignments. Maintains department files and historical documents.
*Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
*Perform other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: Slightly routine with non-routine assignments; Verbal and written communication with both Team Members and management requires tact and/or diplomacy. Routine and analytical computer software usage, to include data entry, reports, and presentations. Interpretation of company policies and a general understanding of them park operations.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

*Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written
*Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity using MS SharePoint
*Familiar with theme park / hospitality functions and operations
*Should have familiarity with reading/interpreting architectural drawings and diagrams
*Should have a working knowledge of technical terms as they relate to general design activities, and certain theme park design and operations activities
Consistent attendance is a job requirement.


*High school degree or GED is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

*3-5 years theme park operations experience preferred.
*Communication and organization skills a must or equivalent combination.
*Prior experience in a project coordinator role is preferred.
*Two years computer experience in Windows environment and spreadsheet knowledge highly preferred.
*Must type 30 wpm.
*Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.

*Strong and effective communicator, both verbally and written, with ability to interface with various departments of the company, as well as outside vendors and contractors
*Possess good organizational, analytical and problem solving ability.
*Detail oriented with proven ability to orchestrate and execute multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment using resources effectively and efficiently.
*Represent the company at all times with high moral and ethical conduct
*Proven ability to work independently with little to no direction and maintain a strong focus on business priorities and be persistent in follow-through.
