Description

The Nursing Technician, under general supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs patient care functions such as vital signs, bathing, linen changes, assisting with activities of daily living, obtaining applies, intake and output, and transporting. Assists the nurse in the admission and discharge process. Has knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
Required Education includes High School Diploma or Equivalent and actively enrolled in a RN nursing program and successfully completed Nursing Fundamentals/Nursing I/or equivalent.
