POSITION: Manager, Finance
SALARY: Up to $84,156.00 starting annual salary

Provide management assistance to the Assistant Director, Chief Financial Officer and Finance Department with the management of the day to day financial operations of the Authority as well as fiscal, accounting and reporting activities including preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the preparation of the Authority's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). Provide guidance and supervision to staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration with emphasis on public finance, economics, and accounting required. Six (6) years experience in financial reporting with emphasis in governmental accounting and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) preparation, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Public accounting experience with governmental auditing preferred. MBA or advanced degree desirable. Experience with supervision of staff and a Certified Public Accountant License (CPA) required. Must have extensive knowledge of accounting for municipal securities and related compliance matters, and current GAAP, GASB and financial reporting practices for enterprise fund accounting. Must have knowledge of and experience with various financial areas and handling multiple responsibilities. Strong technical accounting skills, advanced computer skills in Word and Excel, written and oral communication skills required. Experience with Oracle EBS preferred.
