Description

The RN - Transfer Center is responsible for the facilitation of hospital transfers while adhering to EMTALA guidelines. Collaborates with physician, and teams with patient / family / physician regarding higher level of care requests. In addition, the Psych RN will place all internal and external behavioral health patients in the appropriate bed placement utilizing the behavioral health medical acceptance guidelines and in accordance with the Baker and Marchman Act Laws
