The Role: As an Operations Trainer you will assist with the security and incident management operation of the attraction ensuring that, at all times, the Attractions are safe guarded complying with policies and legislation. Assist the Health, Safety and Security Manager in driving forward a culture of incident management awareness and training to minimize business impact, along with assisting in driving the loss prevention strategy of the attraction. You will assist with the wake full control of the daily operation within the attractions, ensuring the health and safety of our guests and staff. You will ensure world class customer service is delivered at all times, whilst driving operational efficiency. You will manage the day to day running of security staff, ensuring a consistent and holistic approach to the success of the businesses.

Duties will include: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the department efficiently through appropriate allocation of resources.Develop and lead front line employees to ensure they all reach their potential whilst delivering high standards of professionalism and customer service to both internal and external customers.Deliver effective, trained security staff in order to provide effective guarding of the attractions.Assist with the management of the Security team to ensure we operate within policies and legislation at all times, whilst minimising risk and delivering high standards of guest and internal service.Deliever schedules on a timely basis ensuring the department is staffed effectively and in line with budget.Constantly seek ways to improve any aspect of the Security functions in accordance with business need. Ensure staff members perform their duties in line with all training and direction.Ensure all Health and Safety departmental documentation, including Code of Safe Working Practices (CoSWP’s), Risk Assessments, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) assessments and Emergency Procedures Manual are regularly reviewed and updated in accordance with the Health and Safety Manager.Assist with managing the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system to ensure all legal requirements are met.Proactively seek to identify new products / opportunities in order to maximise effeciencies within the department.

The Person: The successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication, negotiation, planning and organizational skills with an outgoing and professional manner. A background in operations is essential as is experience in leading, coaching and motivating a team as well as competent literacy and numeracy skills. As a team player you’ll need to be flexible to working hours, have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and act with flair and initiative.

As the Operations Trainer for Security, you will have experience in leading a customer-focused team.
