About The Role We are now looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. You will support the strategic business objectives of our exciting and dynamic attractions by providing quality financial reports and analysis and maintaining efficient and effective financial controls in a customer focused environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager with overseeing all financial functions of the attractions including revenue reconciliation, deferred revenue, financial reporting and analysis.
- Reconcile payments received from customers and trade sales including commercial (travel agencies, individual and corporate) and institutions (education, government and community centers).
- Preparing the daily flash report, weekly statistical report (including volume and revenue), cluster ticket report, and monthly Hyperion reports for submission to the Group Finance in United Kingdom.
- Perform analysis on financial information as required by finance or operational management.
- Liaison with local auditors on statutory accounting requirement.
- Maintain revenue report including ensuring tickets are properly recorded in the system, GL codes are accurate, and allocation matrix is correct.
About You
- Minimum of 6 years of Senior Account or Finance Analyst experience.
- High level of Excels skills required. VBA is preferred.
- Experience in full general ledger accounting with a focus on revenue reporting
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary.
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Desire to work in fast-paced environments.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA degree, CPA/CMA or similar certification preferred
