Maintenance Technician II

Full Time benefited position. 

This position is responsible for overall maintenance and repair of the facility. Contributing daily to the best possible visitor experience for all OSC guests.

Duties/responsibilities:

• Work as part of the maintenance team to identify problems and repairs in the areas of  painting, plumbing, electrical and facility components.
• Perform thorough inspections of all facilities areas for proper function on a daily basis.
• Follow the PM (Preventive Maintenance) program schedule according to the Facilities management plan.
• Assist department in handling unusual maintenance related to guest complaints
• Report all Work Orders and maintenance assignments to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist in set up, takedown and loading permanent exhibits if warranted while ensuring facility work orders are still being completed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of tools and equipment; follow proper safety procedures associated with each tool / equipment / material.
• Others duties assigned by Manager of Facilities and Director of Facilities.

Education or Certifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience:
Three to five years relevant experience.

Required Skills:
Some plumbing, electrical and construction

Special Conditions (Physical Requirements, travel, work hours):
up to 40 hour work week. Must be able to climb, bind, push and lift 70 lbs. and up.
