At Asbestos.com, we talk to cancer patients and family members, building a trust-based relationship as we help those diagnosed and their family members through the difficult journey with mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. 

We are looking for a Patient Advocate to work on the front lines of Asbestos.com, directly assisting patients and families with every issue arising from a cancer diagnosis, including medical, financial, and emotional support issues. You must have prior success offering patient services in a competitive and resistant market.  In other words, you must thrive on overcoming challenges and be adept at demonstrating value. You must have the ability to orchestrate a complex situation with many players and politics, striving always for what is in the patient’s best interest.  You must possess excellent phone communication skills, be skillful at conveying empathy, while being fearless in your conviction to advocate for the patient.

You must build strong relationships with patients and their loved ones and excel at helping patients solve life-changing problems. You must possess good, consultative selling skills. You must posses strong phone skills.You are an excellent problem solver and an advocate for the best possible solution.

You must be a highly motivated self-starter, an overachiever, and you must work well as part of a team and without supervision. You must be willing to travel occasionally and have prior earnings of at least $80,000 in a variable compensation plan. Experience with business development for medical, VA services, or legal is helpful but not required. We offer a competitive base salary plus bonuses for exceptional performance.
