HVAC Maintenance Mechanic II

Seminole State College of Florida is currently accepting applications for an experienced HVAC Mechanic II to join our highly skilled facilities team. This position performs skilled work in the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including hot and chilled water distribution, cooling towers, chillers, digital and pneumatic controls, and monitoring and operating the existing energy management systems at multiple College sites.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the HVAC trade.
2. Universal EPA Certification.
3. Valid Florida driver’s license or a valid driver’s license from another state with the ability to obtain a Florida driver’s license within 30 days of employment.
4. Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Chilled and hot water distribution systems, hot water boiler and chiller experience.
2. HVAC/DDC control experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Trane Summit and ES
