The Director of Demand Generation is responsible for development, execution and measurement of demand generation initiatives. The Director will be responsible for establishing the strategic direction and execution of all digital and direct engagement activity that will drive product penetration in key customer segments. You are hands-on, highly collaborative and knowledgeable in developing, coaching and leading a team of outbound sales consultants. This position requires interaction with all functions of the organization and requires strong organizational and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage all digital and direct marketing tactics to drive top-of-funnel and downstream conversion metrics.
- Determines outbound sales team operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analyses.
- Identify and evaluate state-of-the-art technologies; define user requirements; establish technical specifications, productivity and customer service standards.
- Prepares outbound sales performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Must be able to master inbound and outbound call strategies. We are looking for someone who leads by example. Excellent telephone skills are an absolute must for this position.
- Organize, manage and lead a team of approximately 10 domestic and international employees across email marketing, list management, CRM database mining and outbound calling functions.
- Responsible for all customer segment group research to include extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine market segment requirements.
- Develops targeted product offerings or marketing campaigns based on customer profiles.
- Provides information to sales and marketing teams to assist in the promotion of the organization's services.
- Track, measure, analyze and optimize all tactics to improve marketing effectiveness and sales results.
- Drive growth and change in a fast-moving, high energy environment.
- Assure that warranty penetration exceeds established goals.
- Take a leadership role with the CRM platform adoption.
- Prepare and present, as appropriate, data and reports to the Avidyne senior leadership.
- Assess and communicate performance of team members through the Avidyne performance appraisal process.
- Proven success in executing direct marketing campaigns.
- Participate in strategic planning to help inform and shape new customer engagement initiatives.

- Exposure to AI (artificial intelligence) technologies used in marketing a plus
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent demonstrated technical sales experience.
- 5+ years of experience in outbound sales demand generation.
- 3+ years of experience of supervisory experience leading an outbound sales team.
- Experience with ERP software. Oracle a plus.
- Familiarity with Aviation and/or pilots license a plus.
