Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

•  Supervise and oversee daily parts,  inventory and procurement department activity
•  Ensure that proper stock control disciplines are in place and constantly being practiced
•  Maintain computer inventory, perform cycle counts, and reconcile with accuracy
•  Develop and review inventory reports aimed at reducing surplus inventory and accurately identifying obsolete inventory for disposal
•  Assist when needed with backdoor receiving and shipping
•  Communicate with external/internal customers and suppliers regarding material availability and lead times
•  Assist with any other projects as assigned by management
 

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 plus years experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Accurately count merchandise
• Complete daily assignments, meet deadlines with accuracy and demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Demonstrate an ability in commonly used software (for example, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel)
• Ability to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
• Stoop, bend and kneel in order to unpack and re-pack merchandise
• Lift up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis and 50 lbs. on an occasional basis

 Preferred Qualifications
• SAP experience is a plus    • Experience operating Forklift
