Sr Systems Administrator (Tivoli)

Nature of Work:

This position is responsible to design, implement, maintain and support solutions to secure and manage access to protected resources across in-house as well as third party vendor applications. Work closely with technology, business stakeholders and external vendors to understand goals, determine security requirements, design and implement new technologies and solutions to meet business objectives. 

Basic Job Duties:

• Perform the technology planning, design, implementation and support of Identity and Access management (IdAM) infrastructure
• Protect and secure company resources across physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures.
• Coordinate with other technology groups to understand integration and security requirements and work together on the design
• Coordinate with Information Security team to ensure solution assurance and compliance to security policy, procedures, standards and baseline security configurations.
• Communicate effectively with third party vendors to identify integration and security needs and evaluate technical solutions and strategies.
• Maintain and Support Non-Production and Production IdAM infrastructure.
• Provide detailed time estimates of the work to be done and regular progress updates as required to the Team Leader and/or Project Manager
• Perform other related duties as directed

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in planning, designing and implementing identity and access management solutions, including role based access control, federated identity and single sign-on (SAML, OAuth), certificate and key management, directory services using IBM Tivoli Access Manager and IBM Tivoli Federated Identity Manager.
• Extensive working knowledge on IBM Directory server and IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator.
• Extensive working knowledge on maintaining and supporting the Tivoli IdAM infrastructure components (Upgrading, Performance tuning, patching etc.)
• Extensive working knowledge on designing and developing custom modules using IBM Tivoli Access Manager and IBM Tivoli Federated Identity Manager APIs (JAVA and C)
• Working knowledge of database and database concepts (DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL server)
• Working knowledge of Web Services, Web services security and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA )
• Working knowledge of JSP, Struts, Servlets and Enterprise Java Bean (EJB)
• Experience with JAVA, Java Script, Java naming directory interface (JNDI) and/or .NET technologies.
• Experience with Web Application Servers and Web Servers (IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Apache, IIS)
• Experience working on Windows, Linux and Aix.
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology
• Working knowledge of clustering application, web and directory and database servers.
• Working knowledge of hardware and software based load balancers.

• Extensive knowledge of web technologies and concepts (session, cookies, certificates, encryption, decryption etc.)
• Working knowledge of relevant network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTP, FTP, SSL, Firewall and DMZ concepts)
• Must be able to effectively perform both independently and collaboratively as a strong team contributor
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills required, including development of detailed solution designs, implementation and support documentation
• Ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.  Excellent interpersonal and interview skills.
• Experience providing technical guidance to junior colleagues.
• Demonstrate exceptional decision-making, organizational and time management skills
