IMPOWER, Inc., a two decade old not-for-profit agency, is working with Brevard Family Partnership to provide a full range of dependency case management services to the children of Brevard County.  We are looking for talented, dedicated, experienced case managers to work in Brevard County.  These positions are Full Time, Fully Benefit Eligible, Non-Exempt, Overtime Eligible professional positions.  Benefits include health insurance choices, dental and vision insurances, company paid life insurance, long term disability insurance and supplemental insurance options.  Pay is based on required, current Florida Child Welfare Case Manager Certification, Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services Field, and experience.   Related experience up to 7 additional years and education beyond the BA are considered toward final compensation offer.

Description:

Provide strength-based and family centered support to children and families through the dependency process. Complete casework and documentation in accordance with Brevard Family Partnership, IMPOWER, State and Federal Regulations & guidelines.  Incorporate System of Care Principles and Values into work with families including meeting or exceeding timeframes and requirements set forth by Brevard Family Partnership, IMPOWER, State and Federal Regulations.  Provide initial and ongoing assessment of each child and family and continually assess risk as an ongoing activity.  Provide evidence through case record documentation that goals are individualized, objective ,measurable, and provide evidence through case record documentation of clients progress toward meeting goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a human services related area of study from an accredited college or university and one year of related experience in human services with preference given for experience with strength based wraparound models.
  • Certified Child Welfare Case Manager
  • Successful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI
  • Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to our service population's cultural and socioeconomic conditions.
