Job Overview:    Key player on both the Operations and Loss Prevention teams in minimizing shrink through visibility of high theft categories and better inventory controls. Drives customer service through cross functional partnerships and by ensuring compliance to Academy's established sales, safety and security procedures and practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Documents and maintains records of incidents relating to loss prevention and safety issues
  • Monitors and accurately reports adjustments and discrepancies to store inventory
  • Provides accurate inventory counts, as assigned
  • Reviews store execution of company policies and procedures
  • Conducts reviews of store technology to ensure company security standards are maintained
  • Partners with Compliance team to execute product recalls and related processes
  • Attends and participates in all required training and meetings.
  • Provides continual feedback on processes and procedures. Suggests methods to improve operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers
  • Completes tasks as delegated by Senior Team Lead and/or Manager
  • Required to learn company policies and procedures
  • Required to learn company safety rules

Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of retail experience in a complex, large format store
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Regular attendance required
  • Ability to execute multiple projects at one time
  • Detail Oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Effective at communicating with a team, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing effectively
  • Quickly understand and adopts company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
  • Minimum 6 months in current position required.
  • No final corrective action within the past 6 months.
  • Most recent evaluation score must be 3.0 or higher.
