Job Description
Job Summary: The HVAC Foreman supervises and participates in the installation of HVAC systems and equipment.
Principal Accountabilities:
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and participate in the installation, read blueprints, manufacturer specifications, written and/or verbal instruction must be able to communicate with other trades, Direct manpower, order material keep up with project budget hours.
- Travel if needed, We work with Sheet metal and duct board set curbs, and set equipment. Attend site meetings with contractors. We install Retail, Offices , churches , living facilities, and T/I work also.
- Plan, schedule and assign work to ensure proper distribution of work, adequate staffing and space for efficient performance of duties
- Make material take-off's, and submit requisitions. Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress
- Supervise and/or assist in personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, and scheduling time off.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricates, assembles and installs ductwork, using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment
