Financial Literacy Outreach Specialist

Seminole State College of Florida is accepting applications for a  full-time  grant funded Financial Literacy Outreach Specialist for our new Employment Opportunities Center (EOC) Grant initiative.

This position reports to the EOC Grant Project Manager and provides financial literacy curriculum and community outreach activities for targeted populations associated with the EOC Grant in accordance to the grant requirements.

Required Qualifications: 
1. Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of one year of experience working with financial aid or financial literacy outreach initiatives in secondary or post-secondary education.

Desired Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Experience working in financial aid or student affairs in an institution of higher education.
3. Experience in conducting presentations and familiarity with college outreach programs.
