Manager of Employee Communications & Engagement

Seminole State College of Florida is accepting applications for a Manager, Employee Communications and Engagement from qualified, experienced candidates with a passion for employee engagement. This position promotes awareness, supports employee engagement initiatives, and ensures employee communications are effective and consistent in supporting college strategies and initiatives. This position is responsible for working with Human Resources, College Relations and Marketing, other employee-facing departments, and the Employee Excellence Committee in developing and implementing multiple programs aimed at improving employee communications, recognition programs, intentional culture change and improved organizational effectiveness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Human Resources, Communication, Internal Marketing, Higher Education Leadership, Public Relations, or a related field
2. Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in Human Resources, Communication, Internal Marketing, Higher Education Leadership, Public Relations, or a related field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience with HR, including Benefits and Rewards and Recognition Programs.
2. Experience in event planning and giving presentations to groups of various sizes.
3. Experience working in a post-secondary educational organization.
