A well-known and highly reputable nonprofit organization serving a large population in northeast central Florida is seeking a President/CEO (due to the retirement of the current President/CEO) to lead the organization through the next phase of its development. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- Progressive experience in expanding leadership roles with at least five years’ experience at the senior management level.
- Success in managing complex organizations including experience in human resource management, program expansion and development, financial management, quality improvement activities, program evaluation, professional credentialing, organizational accreditation, and grant writing .
- Participation in all types of fundraising activities and documented ability to develop diversified funding streams.
- Experience in working with volunteer, nonprofit boards including implementation of board development activities, recruiting new board members, as well as working with organizationally based community advisory boards and committees.
- Experience in advocacy activities and influencing public policy.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, positioning an organization/program properly in the market, marketing acumen, identifying programmatic opportunities and implementation of new programs, strategic initiatives, collaborative efforts with community organizations.
- Strong commitment to personal professional development and to the professional development of an organization’s leadership team and workforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, although a master’s degree, for example: MBA, MPH, MEd is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Superior level of personal and business integrity
- Highest ethical standards
- Strong technological skills
