The YMCA of Central Florida prides itself on providing water safety for children and adults in the community. Under the Association leadership of our Vice President of Aquatics, and 3 Time Olympic Gold Medalist, Mr. Rowdy Gaines; we are in the need of skilled lifeguards and swim instructors to support us in this critical effort. 

We currently have immediate needs for part-time Lifeguards and Swim Instructors at our busy Aquatic Center, centrally located on International Drive. YMCA aquatic staff have a very important role of guarding our members and ensuring pool safety procedures. This individual must have excellent customer service skills, and strong swimming skills. S/he must know and review all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with the YMCA of Central Florida policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

CPR for the Professional Rescuer certified
AED certified
First Aid Certified
Lifeguard Certification (nationally recognized)
Swim Instructor Certification - WSI (American Red Cross) or YSL (YMCA) Certification a plus
