Accountant

Job Description :Lockheed Martin's (LM) Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Financial Services is responsible for providing financial and accounting support to various Lockheed Martin business area partners.This position's primary responsibility is to provide functional and technical support to the Accounts Payable organization.Specific database responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:* Provide daily reports to support existing databases* Monitor and troubleshoot database errors as needed* Compile and provide Weekly and Monthly Metrics reports* Provide ad-hoc reports by writing SQL codes within SSMS* Work directly with internal users to automate current process using Access, SSMS, BIDS, Visual Studio, SAP Query, or any available tools.* Frequently monitor and validate data integrity and format.* Development of data integration, data warehouse, reporting, analytics, and visualization solutions using SQL Server 2012&Visual Studio 2010.* Analyze SQL and VBA codes, identify defects, and make corrections* Interface with stakeholders and team members to design report enhancements including adding new fields, calculated fields, and modifying how the data is displayed.This position may require performance of other duties as required in a changing environment. The candidate is expected to be able and willing to meet deadlines on a continuous basis.Basic QualificationsSkills can be obtained through work experience, college coursework or project work or through on the job training.* Experience with financial software and/or systems* Basic coding through any programming languages experience* Basic experience with and knowledge of database structure and work flow* Proven effective analytical, research and problem solving skillsDesired skills* Accounts Payable functional knowledge and skills* Knowledge of Microsoft Access, including macros, VBA, modules and functions.* Experience in maintaining database using Microsoft SQL Server Management, and BIDS/Visual Studio.* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with specific emphasis on Excel and One Note.* Experience with SAP and SAP Query.* Business Intelligence report development and troubleshooting experience* Software development and troubleshooting experience* Database querying and troubleshooting experience* Demonstrated effective communication skills (Written and Verbal)* Ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive, diverse team environmentAs a leading technology innovation company, Lockheed Martin's vast team works with partners around the world to bring proven performance to our customers'toughest challenges.
