Maintenance&Repair Technician

We pride our service on being consistent in placing skilled candidates through our diverse staffing professionals.Now interviewing qualified candidates for immediate hire!Key Responsibilities:* Learn equipment operation and controls including PLCs * Follow all safety rules and OSHA regulations * Familiarize yourself with the equipment manuals * Change parameters and prepare equipment for production * Preventive Maintenance based on Manufacturer's Specifications * Troubleshoot, repair/replace Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic malfunctions. * Maintain a list of vendors for parts and services * Research and order defective parts * Maintain service and maintenance records for each machine on the network shared folder * Teach line operators issues related to operation, preventive maintenance and safety. * Organize the tool/Parts room * Other projects as needed. * 2-3 years experience in maintenance and repair. * Working knowledge of equipment operations; preferably in a food manufacturing plant. * Knowledge of electrical issues. * Must have a basic knowledge of computers and internet research. * Fork lift certified is a plus. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 2-3 years experience in retail or manufacturing operations in a wholesale or retail environment.
