Description: 

Coordinate the intake of children and secure the least restrictive placement for youth in out-of-home care, in a timely manner.  Act as the initial point of contact in receiving intakes and securing the best possible placement match for children in out-of-home care.  Respond quickly to intake and placement requests from Protective Investigations and placement related needs and/or emergencies from all providers and partners.  Assign cases to the appropriate Case Management Organization on a rotational basis.  Schedule and coordinate ICC/ESI staffing.  Attend staffings when appropriate.

Qualifications:

     *   Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field from an accredited college or university

     *   At least one year of child welfare experience

     *   Child Welfare Professional Certification, preferred

     *   PRIDE/MAPP training or certification and knowledge of trauma informed care, preferred.

     *   Successful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI.

     *   Valid and insurable driver's license.

     *   Proficient in Microsoft applications (word processing, spreadsheets, database, and emailing)
