Mortgage Loan Opener

We're looking for a Mortgage Loan Opener to join our family here at PERL in our Tampa office! The Mortgage Loan Opener is responsible for all aspects of Loan Opening. This position will work in partnership with the Loan Originating and Loan Processing teams to help facilitate the mortgage loan origination process. The Loan Opener will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with top-producing Loan Originators. Prepare files for processing Communicate with Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants, and Processors Perform basic review of loan documents to ensure loan is ready for processing Order necessary documents from third parties including (but not limited to): USPS, LDP/GSA, MERS, SB1167 (IL), VOE s, Flood Certificate, DataVerify/Fraud Audit Services, Title, Appraisal, Transcripts, Condo Questionnaire/Warranty, Subordination Agreement, Payoff, Insurance, etc. Ensure all documents meet investor requirements Follow-up on pending documents Complete approval conditions Requirements Minimum of two years mortgage processing experience preferred Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Must be a team-player Strong PC skills; must be able to complete data entry with exceptional accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid attention to detail Must be proactive and reliable Ability to multitask and effectively manage time Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Promote a positive team work environment through the sharing of knowledge and skills Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures Benefits Benefits include; full medical, dental, and vision coverage; short&long term disability benefits; vacation and sick time off; and 401K retirement with company-match.
