Job DescriptionLOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE. This multifaceted job includes working in the new home warranty department and performing tasks for the customer service department at On Top of the World. The Warranty Technician will complete a closing walk through with the new home owner and manage the home warranty of the new homeowner. To perform this job successfully, employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee will administer and resolve warranty issues on new houses in a timely fashion. Prompt follow up and communication with the homeowners is essential. Will perform such tasks that are necessary for the management of the On Top of the World Owners Association including, but not limited to, the enforcement of Association rules. Conduct inspections of existing homes at the time of resale to ensure compliance of Association homes for the estoppel process. Must have a strong understanding and experience in home maintenance including air conditioning, minor electrical and plumbing. The successful applicant will be a people person with patience and have an easy going personality. Must have a professional appearance. This is a visible position within the organization requiring the utmost awareness of how actions and communication are perceived. In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include such other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time, based upon OTOW Inc. needs or requirements. Performs other duties as necessary. Responsible for compliance of company policies and directives. Follow established Company safety procedures Professional manner, discretion, and appearance are expected. Reports any incident or accident to the Manager/Director. Informs manager of any issues. Education and Training: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Must Be Able To Read, Write And Understand English, Bi-Lingual Helpful. Experience: 5 years Customer Service Experience. Technical Requirements: Experience in home maintenance including air conditioning, minor electrical and plumbing. Additional Specialized Technical Courses or Equivalent A Plus. Must have excellent customer service skills. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential. Ability to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities. Ability to use extensive working knowledge of all paperwork procedures. Ability to use working knowledge to maintain efficiencies and meet deadlines. Ability to respond to specific inquiries or complaints in a calm and timely manner. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to maintain organizational focus in a changing environment.
