Account Receivables / Payroll Clerk

Job DescriptionAccounts Receivables/Payroll Clerk: Secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts; resolving discrepancies. Job Duties: Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, credit cards and finance transactions. Updates receivables by billing unpaid invoices and billable customers. Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales techs, customer service department, service manager and from customers. Resolves collections by examining customers account and following up on any unpaid invoices. Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; verifying totals; preparing reports. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Updates and maintains finance documents through communication with customer and sales tech to ensure timely funding on all financed jobs. Ability to process and follow-up on rush items Verify technicians time sheets and follow up as necessary to ensure the most accurate payroll processing. And any other duties assigned Skills and Abilities: Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
