Facilities Technician

Job DescriptionSummary/Objective The Facilities Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all the facilities. The position requires a mechanical aptitude, experience in the use of hand and power tools and is responsible for, cleaning, maintenance and repair of facility. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Essential Functions Ability to use standard and non-standard power tools Ability to travel to various work-site locations on demand Ability to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time Backup to Scanning/imaging/duplicating machine equipment Receive, sort and distributes mail to the right individual or departments. Ensures delivery of outgoing mail to courier or post office Understand and follow oral and written instruction Qualifications Required Education and Experience High school diploma/GED and or an equivalent number of years of education and facilities maintenance experience. Preferred Education and Experience An AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance or 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience. Travel Some travel expected.
