JOB SUMMARY
: The Brand Standards Associate Representative assists the Sr. Representative of Brand Standards with maintaining the integrity of the Universal Orlando Resort brand in third-party created marketing and advertising collateral, as well as internal and guest-facing communications. Working closely with the Sr. Representative of Brand Standards, the Brand Standards Associate Representative helps develop, distribute and maintain UO/UOR brand usage guidelines and reference tools and works closely with Brand Managers, Legal, IMCs, Project Managers, LP Reps and internal clients with integrating campaigns with brand consistency. Reviews and approves third party created marketing collateral for brand assurance. Assists with creative projects from initiation to completion for back-of-house clients requesting internal creative assistance. Assists with the education of team members about Brand Standards compliance and the internal Brand Standards approval process.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works closely with the Sr. Rep of Brand Standards to develop awareness of the Brand Standards team by building relationships with various business units and assisting with the creation, implementation and management of brand assets for consumer marketing and internal communications.
  • Assist Sr. Rep with supervision and training of the Brand Standards intern.
  • Collaborates with Brand Managers, Licensed Partners, Legal, Creative and Production to implement brand strategy, usage guidelines, standards and reference tools to assist with integrating campaigns with brand consistency.
  • Provide Brand Standards review of third party created marketing tactics for assigned channels to ensure proper administration of brand standards and brand consistency.
  • Perform audits of third party created marketing final files for Brand Standards compliance and provide draft and distribute Marketing BOH job reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing Services Resource Management
  • Facilitate and schedule the Brand Standards Education Series training program for new Team Members.
  • Manage assigned volume of projects with a high level of attention and detail.

PROJECT TRAFFICKING

  • Manage third party created review projects in project management software (Workamajig) for assigned channels and traffic and route projects to internal stakeholders providing feedback for brand compliance while meeting deadlines.
  • Open projects in project management software (Workamajig) for creative requests from internal clients and set the initial project schedule.

PROJECT ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT/CLIENT SERVICES

  • Act as Marketing IMC for back-of-house business units to manage select creative projects for their internal communications needs and/or guest facing, staffing recruitment and community relations initiatives.
  • Draft Creative Fuel briefs as needed to effectively guide the Creative team through the projects creative process
  • Work closely with internal clients and Creative to facilitate and manage appropriate, timely approvals and launch if internal creative projects.
  • Manage assigned volume of projects with a high level of attention and detail.

SCOPE: Reviews Marketing content, manages project accounts and traffics jobs through the workflow system. Assists the Senior Representative of Brand Standards in the coordination and implementation of brand standards across UOR.

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, graphic design, visual communication, project management, visual arts, corporate identity or related field required.

EXPERIENCE: This is a professional position. Potential candidates may have experience working at UOR and have just received their bachelors degree in a relevant position. There is the possibility that a High Level Administrative professional with a strong attention to detail plus a visual or creative arts background could excel in this position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/SKILLS:

  • Experience with Workamajig a plus
  • Works with internal clients
  • Understanding of trademarks and other related fields is a plus

  • Excellent Verbal & Written Communications skills
  • Ability to work in cross functional team environment
  • Visual Communication or Graphic Design
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to exercise good judgment
  • Ability to plan and understand the impact different results will produce
  • Ability to take direction well
