Project Manager

Are you ready to join one of the most progressive YMCA Associations in the country? The YMCA of Central Florida has an exciting Project Manager opportunity within our growing corporate office IT department.

Under the leadership and direction of the Director of Information Technology, the incumbent will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within predetermined budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. This individual will also plan, coordinate, and supervise all activates related to design, development, and implementation of organizational information systems and software applications. S/he will analyze the business by eliciting, analyzing, and validating the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users. This would include interviewing stakeholders and gathering requirements to understand the technology solutions they need. We are currently looking to implement additional functionality to our Salesforce platform, such as Marketing Cloud, and Nonprofit Success Pack, a new HRIS system, and integrating to existing and new cloud applications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information systems or related field of study required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management, PMP.
  • 8 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Experienced with Agile methods for design and programming.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions; especially large project implementations and conversions to new HRIS, ERP, and / or CRM systems.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Familiar with programming languages, including Java and SQL.
  • Database and operating systems experience.
  • Competent and proficient understanding of platforms, such as Force.com, Oracle, client server, data integration, and cloud technologies.
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including browsers, social software, websites, and mobile apps.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Salesforce.
  • 4 years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database design and file management techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
