WESH-TV, an NBC affiliate and Hearst Television Inc. duopoly station in Orlando, Florida is seeking an Operations Technician for live, fast-paced newscasts in the 19th market. Responsibilities include robotic camera operations and studio floor directing. Experience with audio operations and knowledge of Wheatstone D-9 and D-10 a plus. Knowledge of computers is essential.
Successful applicant will be a strong self-starter, team player, and goal oriented individual. Preferred applicants will have at least two years experience in a similar position in broadcast commercial television, or a College degree with an emphasis in television production. Position is part time and will average 25-28 hours per week; weekend availability is essential.
