LARGEST DIVERSITY JOB FAIR AT THE AMWAY CENTER

Over 85 Employers, 6,000+ Jobs and Free Live Career Sessions

November 2, 2015 – (Orlando, FL) – The seventh annual Florida Blue, Florida Classic Career Expo & Diversity Job Fair takes place on November 20, 2015 at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando. (11am-3pm). A combined total of over 6,000 jobs from over 85 employers will be available. These job openings represent many industries including many professional, high-paying and diverse positions. The Career Expo will include four very important career sessions from Orlando’s top career experts.  These free sessions will provide career information (real examples) needed to get a job in today’s economy.

With the unemployment rate in Central Florida at 4.8%, live career fairs are needed to help employers fill openings.  Over 4,000 job seekers attended in 2014 and more are expected this year.  This job fair features real jobs (W-2 only) from real employers.  It gives job seekers the opportunities to directly meet with employers and speak with them about what jobs they offer.

Planned around the weekend of the Florida Classic football match-up between Bethune-Cookman University and Florida A&M University, organizers of the November 20th event are also donating sixty percent of the proceeds from booth revenue to a scholarship fund that is split between the two schools.

“This will be the largest diversity career fair Central Florida has seen in recent years, and all employers will have real jobs,” states Roger Lear, President and CEO of OrlandoJobs.com.

“Job seekers in Florida face two major issues; underemployment and lack of employer response to their online applications.  A well done live job fair can help solve both these issues,” promises Lear.  “Companies that will be recruiting include some of Central Florida’s largest, such as Home Depot, The Golf Channel, OUC, Orlando Health, SunTrust Bank and Hilton Properties.”

Florida Blue, Florida Classic Career Expo & Diversity Job Fair is free to the public and jobseekers are urged to sign up today.  Employers who want to reserve space at this event can do that here: www.orlandojobs.com/jobfair.
