TeleTech Opens in Daytona Beach, Hiring 900 Employees
TeleTech, celebrating their grand opening last week in Daytona Beach, aims to hire 900 new employees this summer. The Colorado-based high-tech customer service company has already filled 300 positions, leaving about 600 job openings available in Central Florida.
TeleTech’s new “customer experience service” is now located at the old TopBuild’s headquarters behind Volusia Mall. They hope to fill the open positions as soon as possible due to their pending contracts with signed clients.
Most are full or part-time positions offering $10-$13 per hour. According to a senior executive at TeleTech, there are opportunities to earn an extra $1-$3 per hour from performance incentives.
Current jobs available are:
TeleTech has stated that they’re expecting 40% of their employees to be bilingual so they’re hoping to hire 240 Spanish-speaking reps. They also plan to hire Mandarin and Cantonese speakers in the near future. In addition to the customer service positions, TeleTech will employ over 100 managerial positions, paying out an average of $41,000 in salaries.
