Chill Water Pipe Foreman
Responsibilities:

Commercial Chilled Water Piping

Supervised by Project Manager
-
Perform a quality and timely installation of HVAC systems
-
Follow company safety policies Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment
Know and follow the HAZCOM program

Present a positive image to customers, co-workers, and others on the job

Keep work area clean
-
Be willing to learn and take direction
-
Attend training to improve knowledge of HVAC
-
Possess general knowledge of hand tools and their use
-
Be able to identify material for piping, copper, and PVC fittings
-
Understand proper material handling procedures for chilled water piping
-
Understand general electrical safety practices
-
Install and braze chilled water piping
-
Perform leak testing of chilled water piping systems
-
Run condensate drains with proper traps and pitch
-
Lay out chilled water piping systems
-
Install accessories on chilled water piping systems
-
Be able to read and understand blueprints and submittals
-
Knowledge of chillers, chilled water system piping, and chilled water pumps
-
Possess good communication skills
-
Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the project schedule
-
Monitor manpower requirements and take action to accommodate fluctuating needs
-
Coordinate the installation of the HVAC system with other trades
-
Ensure compliance with company objectives, operating procedures, policies, and quality standards
-
Represent Energy Air, Inc. at project meetings in the absence of a Project Manager
-
Submit clear, readable, and accurate paperwork in a timely manner to the Project Manager
-
Perform all duties of a Mechanic when Senior Foreman's duties are complete
Qualifications:
-
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of six (6) years experience in the HVAC trade.
Work Environment:
-
Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders. Must be comfortable working from heights (over 20 feet is common). Walking and lifting weight of up to 50 lbs or more are required in daily performance of job.

Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling and material handling.

Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting and squatting.
